It's time for our annual Charity Classic Event!  We invite all of our Members and Guests to participate in a fun-filled weekend of tennis, golf and entertainment at The Country Club of the South.  Since 2007 ClubCorp has raised more than $14.5 million in this nationwide event.  All proceeds benefit the following charities:

Augie's Quest has funded several successful ALS research projects that have accelerated the development of therapeutics for ALS.

Employee Partners Care Foundation has granted more than 1700 requests and awarded more than $1.9 million to Employee Partners in need of financial assistance in times of crisis.

Hire Heroes USA helps service members, veterans and spouses by building the skills and esteem necessary to seek civilian employment.  This is CCS's chosen local charity.

We will kick off the weekend on Friday night, October 16 at 6:30pm with a Tennis Doubles Round Robin Tournament.  Grab your racquet and favorite partner and join us on the court for a casual evening of doubles.  To add a little excitement to the event, watch our pros in an entertaining exhibition match!  Enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres while you mix and mingle with fellow Members and Guests.  All levels are welcome to play!  Looking forward to seeing you on the court!

On Sunday, October 18, we will have a Golf Tournament for those of you who would like to tackle the greens!  Get your foursome together and get ready to shotgun at 1:00pm and play 18 holes, shamble format.  Everyone will hit their own drive, pick the best and play your own ball in.  Want to get some corporate recognition?  We have hole sponsorship options just for you!

On Sunday evening at 6:00pm, we will close out the Charity Classic Weekend with a big celebration!  Come feast on an Italian/Seafood buffet, enjoy live music and make your bid on some awesome auction items.

We encourage all Members and Guests to join the festivities!  You can participate in Tennis, Golf or both.  Or, you may choose just to enjoy the closing dinner party.  We have options that fit everyone's interest.  Let's get into the CCS spirit and support this worthy cause!

About our Charities

Augie's Quest
Augie's Quest is determined to find a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), which affects some 5,000 Americans each year, and many more abroad. With ALS, a person loses ability to control movement. The brain remains perfectly normal, eventually trapped in an unusable body. Life expectancy is generally five to 10 years from diagnosis.

Since its inception in 2006, Augie's Quest has raised more than $36 million in donations.

Employee Partners Care Foundation
The Employee Partners Care Foundation (E.P.C.F.) is a 501(c)3 fund established to help Employee Partners of ClubCorp's family of clubs in need of financial assistance in times of crisis. Funds for the E.P.C.F. come from Employee Partner donations, as well as private donations.

The E.P.C.F. has assisted more than 1,500 Employee Partners and their families with grants since its inception in 2007.

Since 2007, the E.P.C.F. has granted over $1,800,000 in assistance to Employee Partners and their families.

Oklahoma Emergency Responders Assistance Program
The primary mission of Oklahoma Emergency Responders Assistance Program (ERAPOK) is to serve all emergency first responder professionals. This mission will be accomplished by providing training, education, and physiological assistance in a structured three day environment through Post Critical Incident Seminars. ERAPOK will provide the communication tools necessary for them to speak to their families and help them understand what they are going through due to their involvement in difficult critical incidents.
