We will open the doors and roll out the red carpet to welcome our loyal Members and the Birmingham community. All proceeds raised will go to Augie's Quest for ALS Research, the Employee Partners Care Foundation and Ace & TJ's Grin Kids Charity.

Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS

The purpose of Augie’s Quest has always been to fund research and drug development aimed at ending ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease. Since 2007, Augie’s Quest has raised nearly $40 million in support of finding effective ALS treatments- making it the largest individual fundraising program for ALS! All funds raised by Augie’s Quest benefit ALS TDI, the world’s largest ALS-dedicated drug development organization. Support comes from a huge network of national events and promotions, including the BASH for Augie’s Quest, Tradition of Hope Gala and widely successful campaigns within the very generous fitness industry, such as the Clubs for the Quest, as well as a hugely innovative joint-fundraising initiative called the ClubCorp Charity Classic which benefits Augie's Quest and other local charities chosen by that networks members directly. The ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) is the world’s leader in ALS research. Our mission has precise focus: to discover and develop effective treatments to end ALS. As a nonprofit biotech, ALS TDI combines the ambition and strategy of a pharmaceutical company with the dedicated spirit of a 501c3, with incredible flexibility to expedite promising potential treatments from lab bench to people living with the disease today. Founded by a patient and his family, and featuring PALS and their loved ones in the highest leadership roles, a sense of urgency and perseverance drives every decision made at the Cambridge, MA-based institute.

ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation

Employee Partners Care Foundation (E.P.C.F.) is a 501(c)3 fund established to help Employee Partners of ClubCorp's family of Clubs in need of financial assistance in times of crisis. Funds for the E.P.C.F. come from Employee Partner donations, as well as private donations. The E.P.C.F. is available to assist with hardships with regards to illness, injury, death, fire, or other catastrophic events. The E.P.C.F. does not pay medical bills, however the Foundation will assist with living expenses to offset the cost of medical bills.

Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids

Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity, created by radio morning show personalities Ace & TJ in January 2000. The charity was designed to enhance the lives of terminally ill and chronically handicapped children in our listening areas ages 5 through 12, by taking them & their entire family on a once in a life time trip to Disneyworld. Over the years they have taken more than 300 children and their families on a 5 day all-expense paid vacation including air travel, ground transportation, Disney Park Hooper passes, meals, hotel rooms at a Disney Resort, Meet & Greet with some of the famous Disney Characters and Disney Dollars for souvenirs. Grin Kids is funded exclusively by listener donations, fundraising events, and corporate donations. Every dollar helps in making this magical vacation possible for children who have only dreamed of a vacation to the Happiest Place On Earth! Birmingham is the second largest listening area the show is syndicated in and multiple families are often selected from the Alabama area.
