Since 2007, ClubCorp has raised more than $12 million in its annual Charity Classic. Join us for our ninth year of giving. All proceeds to this event will benefit ALS, the Employee Partner Care Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest. 

Your night will begin with a cocktail hour with hand crafted martinis from our Sub-Zero bar featuring, Prairie Organic Vodkas and Gin, Revel Stoke Whiskeys and Tomatin Scotches. Executive Chef Daniel Carrico, has been inspired by our whiskey selection and has created an exquisite five course menu; and to cap the night off, our gourmet coffee bar is a must visit! The Texas Tech Club is ecstatic to opens its doors to the Lubbock and surrounding communities all in the name of charity.

Full event includes Friday Night dinner and silent auction, followed by Saturday Golf Tournament.  Format for the Golf Tournament is 2 Person Better Ball, with handicap.

Join us for our 9th Annual Charity Classic on Friday, August 21st from 6pm-10pm, “The 26th Floor Food Truck Festival”, where you will enjoy culinary creations from the legendary "Food Trucks of Dallas", accompanied by select beer, wine and spirits tastings, street performers, games and camaraderie among fellow Members and guests.  Compete for your favorite merchandise and can’t miss packages during our Silent Auction and the Live Auction, once again hosted by professional auctioneer, Jeff Copeland…….all in the spirit of giving.   Proceeds from this event will go to three deserving charities: ALS-TDI Augies Quest, ClubCorp’s Employee Partner Care Foundation, and our local charity of choice, Irving Cares.

From the start of September through Tuesday, October 4th, the Athletic & Swim Club will be holding a Silent Auction to benefit two worthy charities. All funds raised will be donated to Augie’s Quest, (ALS -TDI) and the ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation (EPCF).  Items and services will be posted in the club for members to review.  Look for things like dining at fine restaurants Le Bernardin and Il Gattopardo, tickets to Broadway shows and Lincoln Center productions, and overnight stays at NYC hotels.

Bidding is an ongoing process, which will continue until the cutoff date, October 4th, at 9 p.m. During this period, bidding is competitive and open to all those interested.  Take a good look at our list and enter a bid at any time for your choices. Each page will show all previous bids so that those participating in the silent auction know that they need to bid higher in order to get the item. If someone outbids you, you have the option to put in a still higher bid.  In the end, the bidding will be closed at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4th.  The highest bidders get their choices.  Following the cutoff time and date, winner’s will be asked to purchase their items for the winning bid.  If the first place bidder fails to make the purchase, the second place bidder will be contacted.
